Project description: Creating a new source of rental income with the construction of an attractive and luxurious modern 2-bedroom granny flat.

Result: A stylishly finished new granny flat, nestled beside the family home, with a spacious feel and modern fittings, providing a solid income source.

Project cost: $130,000.00 including CDC approval and construction costs.

Build duration: 13 weeks, including decking.

Return on investment: Based on rental rates in the area, our clients can expect a return of $300 to $400 per week from this modern small home.

The location

Well situated less than an hour commute from Newcastle, Weston boasts a family-centred lifestyle with numerous schools, kindergartens, supermarkets and cafes surrounded by gently sloping green fields.

Also, home to a national championship speedway, golf course and sports fields, Weston provides the best of Australian semi-rural living.

The project

The design plan for this Investment Property in the Hunter Region was all in the details.

Collaborating with our in-house design team, our client explained their needs and, together, we custom-designed a floor plan that delivered both a spacious and airy flow through the dwelling inside and out, making the most of the large outdoor space.
